Work to St. Michael and All Angels, Mount Dinham starts in August

Work to high level gutters and rainwater pipes to avoid flooding in thunderstorms has to wait until the beginning of August for young peregrine falcons to be fully independent and ready to leave the nest and go out on their own, to avoid disturbing them.
Peregrines have a had permanent nest in the spire since 1998. More information can be found at:

The peregrines are monitored by The Hawk and Owl Trust and the building work programme is being carried out with the approval of the RSPB, and largely funded by The Listed Places of Worship Scheme.
