We are expanding our team, and are looking for people who are passionate about the conservation of historic buildings and innovative sustainable design.
Jonathan Rhind Architects work on some of the Southwest’s most prestigious buildings. We are project architects for the National Trust, St Michael’s Mount and Pendennis Castle; and we have been instrumental in the regeneration of Woolsery village for tech millionaires Michael and Xochi Birch. We recently achieved planning permission for upgrades and development to the iconic Burgh Island Hotel, as well as for a glass box extension on a Grade II* listed Queen Anne house. We are currently working on the extension and conservation of a Grade II* listed Georgian Manor in Cornwall amongst other exciting church, barn conversion and private house projects.
As a small practice with studios in Devon and Somerset members of the team have the opportunity to get involved in all stages of the project from concept sketches, to site visits and client presentations, and we encourage discussion, the sharing of ideas and a collaborative approach.
Team members are assigned a mentor, have regular practical and theoretical CPD sessions, and are supported to progress their career with further learning and qualifications. We have supported many members of our team achieve conservation accreditation and are dedicated to encouraging and supporting the next generation of conservation architects.
If you would like to work on a varied jobs list in the beautiful southwest get in touch.
