Exhibiting Virtually in lockdown
— 19 Nov 2020

This manor house in Somerset needed much attention and a keen eye for detail to give it new life

The clients were keen to retain the history of the house while updating the services and fit out for the twenty-first Century

Maintenance of historic houses is an ongoing issue for owners/guardians

Having experienced the bustle and buzz of last year’s Historic Buildings, Parks and Gardens Event at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in central London, it was obvious that this year’s virtual event was going to have a very different feel. However, despite taking place in the midst of lockdown version 2.0, there was still a sense of anticipation and excitement about the combined HHA AGM and exhibition.
With virtual stands from dozens of businesses who work in heritage and the conservation of historic houses, there is a huge amount of information available to anyone who owns or manages historic houses and needs support or advice.
The exhibition will be available online for the next 12 months and it is definitely worth a look if you are the guardian of a historic house and have any questions or queries about its care and maintenance.

Assuming that it will be safe to do so, we will be back next year at the live event in person, and look forward to hopefully seeing some of you there.
