St. Paul's Church, Yelverton The church was built by Nicholson and Corlett 1911-1913 and although of solid masonry construction, the walls are thinner and detailing less massive due to the use of cement in the masonry. The existing, very tall chimney to the boiler flue built of rubble sandstone shaft with dressed granite cap was cracking and letting water in to the core of the wall and down in to the vestry.
