Construction of luxury summer house complex complete

Jonathan Rhind Architects is pleased to have completed a stunning bespoke project of a summer house with outdoor pool in the Cotswolds.

Located in the grounds of a Grade II listed regency dwelling, our team designed and managed the build of the summer house complex and outdoor pool, set within a large landscaping scheme.

Pete Thompson, technician at Jonathan Rhind Architects said: “With high-quality materials and detailing both internally and externally, the end result of this project is truly stunning and is something that both the client and the team are extremely proud of.

“With bespoke features including a fire pit, custom-made staircase and unique windows, this was a complex project and allowed us to use our creativity to realise the client’s aspirations for the site.”

The work included construction of a pool house with sitting, living and dining areas, bedrooms, changing facilities and an office space suitable for small meetings.

We also worked on a separate south-facing greenhouse, potting shed and walling within the extensive garden.

Pete added: “With new build projects that start with a blank slate, it is essential to understand and enhance the client’s brief and vision for the completed project.

“This site is in a stunning setting and presented an opportunity for the design of a luxury retreat to complement its historic surroundings.”
